How to read this chart
The Global Consciousness Dot is a representation of the Global Consciousness Project — science's way of measuring the collective consciousness (also called the noosphere) described by sages of all cultures. When human consciousness becomes coherent, the behavior of random systems is thought to change.
The color of the dot shifts based on the cumulative deviation of random-number-generator output from expected baseline. Bright red or dark blue zones indicate stronger-than-chance structure in the data — the moments when the field is loud.
